Departure: Park behind the church, at the entrance to the capital of Saint Alban des Villards.
Description: Follow the municipal road which passes in front of the Triandou inn, leave the War Memorial and Chemin des Charrières on the right, pass in front of the town hall and continue to the entrance to the hamlet "Le Frêne". There, take Route du Planchamp on the left. 50 m further down, after a sharp turn to the right, take Chemin de la Chaufferie on the left. Arriving at the sign "Saint Alban des Villards, Chemin des Moulins, alt. 1096 m, take the path which goes down a little to the right, towards Les Moulin. This path, quite wide, leads in a few bends to the stone bridge which spans the Merlet torrent Here you are near the mill which, thanks to its water intake in the Merlet, made it possible to operate not only the mill (for flour) but also the sawmill and a micro-electric power station.
Return: take the same route.
