Saint-Colomban-les-Villards

Presentation

The village of Saint-Colomban-des-Villards is located halfway down the hill of the Col du Glandon, at altitude of 1,100 metres (3609,9 feet). It is encircled in a chain of high summits including the Grand Truc, the pic de Frumezan, the cîme de Sambuis and the aiguilles d'Argentières which dominate the Combe d'Olle and Grand'Maison dam.
In winter, the village is one of the gateways to the Sybelles skiing area.
The commune of Saint Colomban des Villards, made up of hamlets with houses tightly packed together, has preserved, for the pleasure of all, its charm of yesteryear while equipping itself with quality tourist infrastructures.

When winter comes, without waiting or crowds, you can enjoy quality skiing on a ski area adapted to all levels and benefit from a supervision allowing you to evolve in complete safety, on more than 1,200 m of difference in height. Snowshoe walks at nightfall, torch-lit descents followed by mulled wine, local specialities (tomcat, teillons), so many unforgettable memories. The high valley of the Villards, a remarkably preserved site, gives the ski touring enthusiasts the pleasure of sliding freely in abundant and light snow.
In summer, the countless hiking trails lead you to discover alpine chalets, forests, lakes, streams and peaks. Multi-sports ground, via ferrata, horse riding, tennis, soccer, climbing, cycling or mountain bike, petanque, fishing... allow you to get back in shape and vitality while your children make new friends at the club "Les Galapias".

And then, throughout these two seasons, Matouille le Renard, our famous mascot, will delight the youngest and the oldest during the animations on the resort, and with always more surprises!

Saint Colomban des Villards is a village where you can enjoy the invigorating charms of a still intact nature and discover a wide range of sports and relaxation activities!
